It's all me.

« on: May 11, 2012, 09:08:48 AM »

Went yesterday to the 5-6 hour orientation. A lot of info going in to the brain. Then they had to take blood -- from my dehydrated veins. They would put in a vial and it would go then stop...drip drip drip. They needed 16 vials...got only 14. They blew 2 veins in the process. Yippeee.
One thing I got out of it is that we can double list. Which I am going to do because in San Diego the list is shorter. So the San Bernardino County is 8 - 10 years.
So I am waiting to hear about the blood work....if they need more...they are out of luck. I even have a bump in my left arm now from the blood work for the fistula that was done and the IV that bruised my hand up so bad. All done with needles. :P

Oh yes, do get double listed if there's any chance that your wait time can be reduced!

Those pre-tx evals are intense, that's for sure.  Did you learn anything that surprised you?

Our daughter is listed in Los Angeles and San Diego. The 2nd listing is much faster.
Good luck!

Awesome. I will do that then. I havent heard anything yet from all the blood work. Need to call because I have to living donors but they need to be tested, neither will pass but at least they will find out about their health too.
Today I had a helluva a day. My key in my car wont come out...and trust me i have done everything. My arm is aching like crazy from all the work I put it through today. I had to pull the fuel filter fuse and take the battery cable off. Who knows what that will do long term. Now is when I wish I had a man around.
I will let you all know if I hear any news from the tx thingy.
Night and happy mothers night...lol
