I met Peleroja today at a support meeting in Bellflower.  It was a very nice meeting with great conversation.  Sorry, no pics.

I met cariad and her husband on November 20. I did not take pictures, but her husband did and I did not have a beer in my hand this time  :rofl; I did have cofee though. So for 2009 I have met to other members.

Diabetes -  age 7

Neuropathy in legs age 10

Eye impairments and blindness in one eye began in 95, major one during visit to the Indy 500 race of that year
   -glaucoma and surgery for that
     -cataract surgery twice on same eye (2000 - 2002). another one growing in good eye
     - vitrectomy in good eye post tx November 2003, totally blind for 4 months due to complications with meds and infection

Diagnosed with ESRD June 29, 1999
1st Dialysis - July 4, 1999
Last Dialysis - December 2, 2000

Kidney and Pancreas Transplant - December 3, 2000

Cataract Surgery on good eye - June 24, 2009
Knee Surgery 2010
2011/2012 in process of getting a guide dog
Guide Dog Training begins July 2, 2012 in NY
Guide Dog by end of July 2012
Next eye surgery late 2012 or 2013 if I feel like it
Home with Guide dog - July 27, 2012
Knee Surgery #2 - Oct 15, 2012
Eye Surgery - Nov 2012
Lifes Adventures -  Priceless

Well, I'm not going to mention any names because I'm afraid I'll forget half the people.   :Kit n Stik; I went to the first IHD meet in Vegas.  It was such a great time. Would love to meet everyone again...especially AlohaBeth.  ;D Remember Beth, we're suppose to go party if we both ever get to Vegas again.  :yahoo; Well shoot, you travel alot, come to Omaha.

also,  have talked to Okarol and our beloved Goofynina on the phone

Well, I can add another one to my list.  ylguy came to our Kidney Beings meeting yesterday.  Last year I met okarol at a RSN luncheon.  Onward and upward!
