Hello my friends...Welcome to my world as I see it...We are all tiny fleas on the back of a hugh dog called the World...
My life changed recently when I became one of the choosen ones to have dialysis....Am I bitter, no, because I have done my research and believe that God has an ultimate plan for me. Just as he does for each of us. Disgusted at times at the quality of care that is given  at the center I currently receive my treatment...But that too will change...All things do.. I am a lover of life and never meet a stranger.I look forward to talking to each of you and learning about you and your situations.Hopefully I believe we will all gain the knowledge we need to be successful at our journey through kidney disease.. I detest te fact they label us as TheEndStage...What do they jknow???!!! Oh yes, I am ever so greatful for this site! Thank you Sugah.. Oh yea..P.S.before you ask...yes the hair is really mine! LOL.God given. So please don't ask for color or maker...ROTFLMsweetBO. My friends call me Sassy..

Hey Sassy, and Welcome to our Website.  I like your style and your way of thinking girlfriend, you remind me alot of someone, now who??? oh, ME!  :)   nah,  So much valuable info here so i hope you read into many of the threads and please dont hesitate to ask questions, post comments and concerns..  Looking forward to hearing more from you..  oh yeah, and if you can, please go to this thread: http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?topic=830.0 and add a pic of yourself,  that is our "Family Album" (named by Hephs-Little-Lady)  it's always great to put a face with a name... hope to hear from you soon,,,

Uninterrupted in-center (self-care) hemodialysis since 1982 -- 34 YEARS on March 3, 2016 !!

No transplant.  Not yet, anyway.  Only decided to be listed on 11/9/06. Inactive at the moment.  ;)
I make films.

Just the facts: 70.0 kgs. (about 154 lbs.)
Treatment: Tue-Thur-Sat   5.5 hours, 2x/wk, 6 hours, 1x/wk
Dialysate flow (Qd)=600;  Blood pump speed(Qb)=315
Fresenius Optiflux-180 filter--without reuse
Fresenius 2008T dialysis machine
My KDOQI Nutrition (+/ -):  2,450 Calories, 84 grams Protein/day.
