Hi,
As you guys know my hubby Les is the
D. patient - but I cannot, cannot sleep!
I think even this  :Kit n Stik;  would not help
me get a full nite's sleep  :rofl;

I only drink coffee in the AM and drink diet
decaf soda, but my mind loves to race on,
and once I wake up (usually about 2 am)
boy I am usually up for the count!

I think everyone in the US is having a problem,
seems like everybody I talk to is an insomniac!

That's what I asked for Christmas, a good night's sleep.  Every night it's the same thing - toss & turn.  I've been spending most of my nights in the basement, on the recliner, watching television or something to try and put me to sleep.  I do it in the basement, so I don't wake up my family.  Letterman and Conan are done, and I'm still looking for something to put me to sleep.  If I turn off the TV, my mind races and I can't sleep.  It usually works to find something that I can listen to, but doesn't keep me thinking - like a sitcom or cooking show.  Then, the alarm goes off and it's time to get up for work.  Another day of pushing through with little or no sleep at all......

It is ridiculous how many of us can't sleep!   I am like you cherpep.  I go to bed, toss and turn and may eventually dose off but am soon wide awake.  I just get up and watch Letterman, then The Late, Late Show, Entertainment Tonight, etc etc.   I don't ever take a nap, hoping that will help.  Nothing helps.  It is getting old.  If I could just stop my mind and the worry and thoughts running through my brain.   My husband thinks I should drink a glass of wine every night.  I am afraid it would take the whole bottle!   :wine;    :rofl;
