Hello everyone. My name is Roseann. I've got PKD and I've been on dialysis since August. Last month I had both kidneys removed and I'm waiting for a transplant now. I f'ing hate dialysis. The center I go to couldn't care less about me. My treatment is scheduled to begin at 10:30 and not one, single time have they been on time. I could rant and rant but I'm afraid nothing I have to say would be news to anyone here!

best to all, Roseann

Welcome to our community, Roseann!  Glad that you found us.  Feel free to rant as much as you like - here we understand what you are going through.  In my centre, only those in the first shift are more or less guaranteed to go on the machine on time.  The second shift's starting time depends on how the first shift did!  I am second shift which can start anytime  from about 10 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.!  I suppose I am now quite accustomed to that.  Let us know how you are doing.  Keep reading and please keep posting.  you are now part of the IHD family. :grouphug;

   Hi Roseann.
   I have remarked at dialysis a few times that I feel like cattle with a dollar sign brand on my hide.  I understand what you mean... By all means, Rant Away.

Ranting is fine.  It will keep you from going "Postal".  ( my husband is a mailman, he hates that expression) :welcomesign;
