Hello, My name is Micole and I am very glad that I found this website.  I am 25 years old and I have been helping my older brother which is 27 and my mother with their battle of ERSD.  My brother kidney faliure was a big shock he was working and attending college full time, and he had is permcath put in his neck, and with help from me and the rest of our family he did graduated.  I did home PD with my brother for three years, and he did have a kidney transplant on Sept. of 2005, but presently he has to go back to dialysis, because his kidney has rejected.  My lovely mother came down with ERSD in 2003, and diabetes and high blood pressure was the caused, she has been taking hemodialysis for about four years now.  I am very excited about interacting with you all, I hope to encourage my mother and brother to interact on this website aswell, my mother will be very excited about it, I am teaching her how to work the computer and the internet now, So she will be on soon.   HOPE TO CHAT SOON!!

:welcomesign;  Micole.  Bless you for being a wonderful, caring and helpful daughter and sister, so many people don't have help like this and it is more than the physical, it's the emotional help as well.  Thank you.  This is a great group of people and we will learn from you as well as hopefully give you help that you need.  We are your support just as you support others.

Wow Nicole.. Welcome.

You've taken on a big responsibility but you sound like a very loving person. Hopefully we can help you and your family a little bit go through this experience!
