it has been awhile and I'm sorry. My mom is now in hospice. She has fought a long battle but unfortunately it looks as if she is losing strength to fight. She is in a beautiful home she was moved there today from the hospital due to medicaid and the fact she's stabilized. I am doing well on the kidney front and only have clinic once a week now! So please keep my mom and family in your thoughts and ill do the same love you all

Im sorry for you that this is all happening,(your too young to loose your mom
) but i can say that hospice is a wonderful gift from God. They treat thier people with utmost respect and care and it's like 'make a wish' for the patient. My daughter is going back to work with hopice just for the fact that it is so fulfilling to all. Bless you and give you strength during this time. Take care of yourself, im glad your doing well with your kidney, and keep up your strength and faith.. Bless your family

I hope you and your mom both are much more comfortable with hospice. They do such good and important work. Hospitals are such dismal places...the emotional comfort that hospice can offer is usually absent in a hospital setting. I'm glad your mom made this move.

I'm so glad to hear that your transplant is doing well and of course I'm sorry to hear that your Mom is losing her battle. Thinking of you and your family Karen.
