Title: Hello Everyone
Post by: flip on March 30, 2008, 12:45:20 PM: I just stumbled across this site and thought it looked great. I've been active on some of the other forums so I'm probably not a stranger to many of you.

I have ESRD caused by hypertension. I do in-center hemo and don't really have any problems with it. I've never really considered another modality or a transplant. I still do everything I did before and my seat time passes quickly.

Anyway, thanks for letting me join this group. I hope to be both informative and entertaining.

Post by: flip on March 30, 2008, 05:45:55 PM: No, I don't really work anymore although I do have some hobbies that produce income. I'm also on Social Security Disability and I consider that my job. If you take the amount of my check and divide it by the number of hours I spend in the dialysis center, I'm making about $35/hr. just to sit in a recliner while watching TV and surfing the internet. I guess it's just my hillbilly way of thinking.
