Hi Guys. It has been a very long time. It is good to see the same familiar faces around but also so many newbies. Everything is great with me - just frantic with work. Very fit and healthy and nearly three years on dialysis has not slowed me down at all. I ignore any glitches in the system - I never know whether they are coming from dialysis, menopause or old age so just keep going and hope for the best they will go away - which they normally do.
Otherwise I have absolutely no complaints. Very sad about Karen247. So young. I am still not interested in going down the transplant path. Too healthy on dialysis and a great believer in why fix something that ain't broke. I know I am in the minority and I absolutely respect everyone else's position in relation to transplant but its not for me.

Glad that you are doing well! IHD has a Vegas event in October. I can't even think about Vegas without thinking of you. That Elvis wedding really was a once in a lifetime event. Just thinking about Susie standing there with Sluff... it was all because of you. Thank you for making it happen.

Hi Cindy! It is so good to hear from you. I am thrilled you are doing so well.
Like Meinuk, one of my favorite memories is of the Elvis wedding,too. I woud have never had that experience without you making it happen. Sluff getting married, Goofynina standing up with him, Elvis singing. It was quite the night! And we all kept thanking you for being the fairygodmother who gave us this fun event. Thanks, again. :cuddle;

I'm not sure I feel the same way about a transplant, but I'm also not sure I want one either. Most people (including my parents who I'm very close to) just seem to assume that I would want one, but I think it's much more complicated decision than most people assume.

Hi Lucinda!! Hubby feels the same way don't fix it it it's not broke and he's been on dialysis for 14 years!!

So nice to hear from you all. Nice to see young Richard is still an incorrigible flirt and nothing has changed on that score! Where are you off to Rich? It is probably on here so I should just go look. I am going to try and be a good girl and pop in every week. In fact, if I ever sell my website, which I hope to do at the five year mark, some of that money is going to have to go to IHD. I was having trouble getting the forum to work so I showed my web guys IHD and told them to have a forum with a similar layout. Yours is far better but now I have changed it did encourage people to post on the site a lot more. Now I have nearly 5,500 members so when I sell it down the track, I will definitely throw some money IHD's way to help support this site. My site is www.stratalive.com.au. It is all about apartment living and building regulations and legislation. There are stories about interior design, storage in apartments, maintenance, legal and financial advice and much more. Currently just in my state NSW but we are going National before the end of the year.

shoot the sooner you get to Vic the better. I totally need that stuff given I've just been through a nasty bathroom leak issue that is costing me.... well... some $$$ to fix. lol.
