here is a wrong way recipe I got from Davita recipes
what was I thinking
Lemon Cake-Pie
you basically make a homemade lemon cake and you cook it in a 9 inch pie shell
the cake part was good but the in the pie shell thing was freaky
my husband ate it only if he drowned it in cool whip and chocolate syrup
I did not give IHD the recipes b/c who would want it

Twirl, where do you get the energy to cook? I feel like a slug lately. I just want to curl up in bed. Hubby has been cooking or we've been going out.

Today we had Popey's chicken. And I am paying for it! My tummy feels awful. I need an  in house cook!

I do not teach anymore
and I hardly ever cook like that
felt sorry for that wrong way meal
my husband kept saying he did not deserve such a good meal ???
had enough for two meals to freeze
two for his lunch
and still more
which it has been requested that I not feed any to the pets
right--- I'll "eat" three -- one for each dog and the cats can split one

Mac and cheese with pimento cheese? I love pimento cheese, but hot on noodles just sounds nasty!!

My FIRST "wrong way" meal was about six months after I got married the first time. Due to my college and his military training, we'd only lived together about a week. I decided to make fried chicken, since I had married a nice (so I thought), Southern boy. Remember, my mother is a Yankee, so I was never taught how to fry anything. I burned the bone. It was horrible! I have not attempted to do that since...and that was 1995.

A couple of years later, my parents came to see us for Easter, and I decided to make a homemade bread. After the oven cooled off, I put it back in there so the cats wouldn't get into it. A couple of hours later we turned on the oven to start the ham, and forgot about the bread. There were two loaves of bread covered by towels - most of the bread was fine, but one towel was a complete loss and the other was forever missing a corner. Lesson learned. :)

Exploding dough seems to be my thing.  One of my cans of fridge biscuits exploded in the back of the car on the way home.  Sure sounded like a rear tire blowing to me!
