I'm leaving in the morning for our annual Camporama. I've pulled off as much fluid as I can this week and now am 3 kilos under my dry weight so skipping Saturday dialysis shouldn't be a problem. No wi-fi in the campground so I won't be posting after tonight. I'll post some pics of the fish I catch, as well as, the beautiful Indiana scenery. Life on dialysis isn't all bad.

For a long time in Canada there was a television add to encourage kidney donation. It showed two men sitting in a boat fishing, talking about their friend who couldn't be with them anymore because he was on dialysis. I used to think that the Canadian Kidney Foundation must be crazy to run such an ad, because the general public would assume that we were asking for them to donate their kidneys because we couldn't fish! I guess you've shown even that reason is unfounded.

Had a wonderful time. We got invaded by raccoons the first night and I didn't get much sleep. I went out the next morning and bought a large water canon. I loaded it with a mixture of water and hot sauce. No problems after that. Three days and not a single thought about dialysis. Got some great pics. One of my cousins hauled up a full size refridgerator and I took a 15" flat screen TV so we could watch the Olympics. We believe in "roughing it".

We did have electric hookups so we took a few extras like refridgerator, microwave, color TV (with rabbit ears) but it was fun...18 people, 10 tents, no dialysis.

They are a lot like bears. Once they get used to feeding off campers, there's no stopping it. They actually chewed into a couple of plastic totes the first night. All they got was some Fruit Loops and graham crackers. All the meat was in the fridge, strapped shut but they still tried to chew the straps.
