Im not sure if this renal related in any way or not ? Does anyone get er how can i say ? like un- natural wind (gas for our usa friends!)  :shy; I dont mean like doing a regular burp, its so bad your stomach actual blows up and you have to rub and rub to bring this wind up , then when you do its a massive burp that actually hurts !! Every once in a while i get this , like i go months in between , but its always the same. Its so bad it wakes me up in the night and im full of wind that i just have to get up , sometimes i have to make myself sick to move it. Im not sure if it has anything to do with it but i always feel run down when i get it.

Hi Kickstart.  I rarely have the problem but the couple of times I have had it, it was straight after a dose of aranesp.  Well, not straight after but the next night.  My doctor said a few people, particularly women have that problem with that drug and EPO on occasion but it shouldn't happen all the time.  He couldn't explain the reason why but said he had other women on both drugs complain of the same problem. Don't know if that helps. xxx
