Scholarships for People with Kidney Disease
Please note: The application deadline has passed for the 2008-2009 academic year. More information for 2009-2010 academic year will be available in May, 2009.
The American Kidney Fund's Patient Scholarship Program provides support for people with chronic kidney disease (CKD) to further their education or vocational training as part of an effort to initiate, maintain or resume employment and independent living.
Scholarships are awarded for education or training in nephrology-related health professions such as medicine, nursing, dialysis technician, nutrition and social work.
We accept applications for this program on an annual basis. Please check back when our 2009 application process begins. Depending on where you live the NKF of some states have scholarships for Transplant and kidney patients like this one
