I just got back from a week in San Diego, it was great. I traveled by plane from Boston and had all my fluids shipped by Baxter to the hotel before I arrived. They were great all they asked for was the dates I was going, the address and phone number of the hotel and what I wanted them to ship. I called the hotel a few days before I got there to check that everything had arrived.
I packed my caps and supplies in my checked bag with just a couple of caps and stuff in my carry on. No problems with security.
Our hotel was great, the Sommerset Suites Hotel, in the Hillcrest area. Everyone was really nice and they brought my fluids up as soon as I got there, no problem.
I did have one low BP episode at the zoo since it was unusually hot the week we were there, that was a bit embarissing trying to convince a bunch of old ladies that I was fine and didn't need an ambulance. :P But on the plus side I got to drink a nic big glass of ice tea to bring my bp backup.

I love the San Diego area.  Nice place, lots to do.  Lots of events.  The Word Famous San Diego Zoo, the Wild animal Park, the Museums, Sea World, Old Town, The new Gaslamp area, shopping venters, El Cornonado Hotel and Island.  I sound like a travel brochure.
