We did it!!! I had a baby while on home hemodialysis (NxStage). We went 36 weeks and 4 days! Her name is Kaylynn. She was born 4/18/08 at 10:36 at Duke University Medical Center. She weighs 6 lbs 0.3 oz and she is 19 inches long! She was delivered via c-section. Her Apgar scores were 8/9. She is healthy and hungry! That's Kaylynn in the profile picture. More details to come!

Congratulations! A new baby the picture of health----life is good! You did an excellent job of taking care of yourself and the baby during the pregnancy. Good job! Now get a little rest before you go home. Your IHD family is very happy for you!
