Dont let dialysis stop you...

« on: April 13, 2008, 01:16:50 PM »

I talked to my doctor, who is great by the way and said he regards me as someone he looks at like his son. So he I and my mother had a meeting and he really solved everything for me. He went over our incompetent directors head and put everything the way it should be. Now the lights are back out and he mandated that there has to be someone at the nursing station at all times which is great becasue thats right in my view. and he also told me if I have any trouble at night again, where I wake up and a tech is sleeping or if there seems to be no way to get anyones attention,he gave me his private number and said call him no matter what time of night and he will call the unit. Yay!! Im so relieved and got that stress off me. Thanks to al of you!! I really leaned on you all during that tough time..THanks you!!

Neo, I am so glad things have worked out.  Having a good relationship with your doctor really helped the situation.  You know we all worry and care :grouphug;  You're a great guy and deserve for things to go well.   Job well done :thumbup;

I am so pleased for you  :2thumbsup; - and what a fantastic Doctor to give you his personal number. Can't see any in the UK doing that!  Hope you never have to use it but what a great backup.

WELL DONE YOU, I'm proud of you. :yahoo;

Congradulations on getting the problem solved.
Were there reallly people sleeping on the job? If so, maybe the director needs to be fired if they are not doing anything about it, that is a saftey issue. Then again, I do not know the full story, just came by reading new threads that sounded interesting tonight.
