One day we went to KFC after treatment.  I went in to get to takeout. When I came out he was calmly sitting in the car with the coat off holding his sites with blood all over his arm. Always had 2x2s and tape in the car. Got me to get him a 2x2 and he took off the one that was bloody and put on a clean one.  That's only one of the few times he bleed.

One woman at hubby's unit left the unit with her so (he always came with her)  When thet got down to the main door to leave the hospital they realized her arm was bleeding. They both paniced.  Didn't put any pressure on it to stop the bleeding.  She was in a wheel chair. Instead of going to emerg which was closer he put her in the elevator and went back to the dialysis unit on the 2nd floor with her. What a trail of blood they left behind them!!!  Had to call for the cleaners to clean the floor.

Jenna had a black and blue arm where they infiltrated her fistula. She wasn't feeling so hot so I thought I'd get her some hot food. We went straight from dialysis and stopped to pick up fried chicken for the family at KFC. Standing at the counter, I started to order a family meal, but realized that my wallet had been left at home and I had to scrape together what little money I had in the bottom of my purse. The girl taking our order just stared at me. I told Jenna just to order what she wanted and I would make something else for the other kids when we got home. The cashier rang up the order and we waited a few minutes until they called our number. But the cashier handed us 2 big bags of food, and I was confused... had we gotten the wrong order? The young woman said. "No, it's ok, it's for you. I hope you have a nice dinner." I was still not sure why this was happening, but thanked her and took the food to the car. I said to Jenna, "What was that all about?" and she said "I have no idea." I started the car, and caught a look at myself in the mirror, realizing that I had a black eye from bumping a ladder earlier in the day. I glanced at Jenna and saw her arm even more purple than before. We looked like hell. No wonder they gave us a free dinner at KFC!
