Well, I'm all recovered from my nephrectomy. also had my cathiter removed last week. The revised fistula is working great. Thanks to Sluff for checking up on me. I've been very busy and have been on here. So letting you know all is well.  Never Weaken!!!! :keefer: :boxing; :boxing; :Kit n Stik; :puke;               Cool   sluff :sluff;

1993 diagnosed with glomerulonephritis.
Oct 41, 2007 - Got fistula placed.
Feb 13, 2008 - Activated on "the list".
Nov 5, 2008 - Received living donor transplant from my sister-in-law, Etta.
Nov 5, 2011 - THREE YEARS POST TRANSPLANT!  :D

Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
Found a swap living donor using social media, friends, family.

i am a 51 year old male on dialysis for 3 years now. This is my second time. My brother donated a kidney to me about 13 years ago. I found this site on another site. I had to laugh when i saw what it was called. I hope to meet people from all over to talk about dialysis.

Hi NVR! Good to see you. Glad you got through that nephrectomy all right. I had one too... man, the hangover from 6 hours of anesthesia was a real knock out! Hope all is going well for you.
