Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

My wife and I are tossing around the idea of moving from Florida to somewhere in Virginia.  I was looking at what is up there, and I am thinking about being somewhere in the neighborhood of Charlottesville and the University of Virginia, as I'm thinking about going to the clinic, hospital, and doctors at UVA.

I am currently on NxStage and want to stick with that dialysis method.

What I want to know is if anyone has any experience with UVA, or would you suggest going somewhere else?

Dear Terry:
Charlottesville and surrounding areas of central Virginia are beautiful and I spend a lot of time there in the spring. My son attends a boarding school near Charlottesville.
I have dialysis at one of the UVA centers at Zion's Crossroads. I appreciate the cleanliness and patient focus during treatment. They have a cheerful, conscientious staff. UVA is an excellent hospital, I have had experience there as well and was confident to be in experienced hands.
If you need resources, I have made many friends out there ... who know realtors etc.
Check it out in the spring when the dogwoods are in bloom! Beautiful.
Take Care,
Fumabella

Hi Terry, We also live in Tampa (northwest corner). Rolando dialyzes at DaVita, Temple Terrace. Just curious, what's making you want to leave?

We are both looking for someplace that has four real seasons, instead of hot, real hot, darn hot, holy cow it's hot.

Not to mention how high the Property Taxes are and everything else that's backwards about this state because of all the seniors not allowing any kind of changes to go through.
