..... this week!

I was invited to a rose planting ceremony on the weekend, which we attended, organised by the South Australian Organ Donor Agency.

Wish this Awareness Week was better promoted, though. All involved do an excellent job, no doubt, but I guess it's difficult with all the other things out there competing for attention.

Great job Louise :2thumbsup; organ donation needs all the help it can get here.My local paper the Wagga daily Advertiser did an article on me last week to help promote organ donation , i have been trying to put the story on here not having much luck with that but i ill keep trying. Any  :pics; of you ?

Yes a tad small.. but great pics ;)

Let us hiope the waiting game is over for all of us soon - in a positive way!!!

I certainly hope people become more aware - specially in Australia we need it more than most (sadly)

Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017

Thanks Charee, but I didn't do anything. Just got an invite (which I figure goes to all donors and recipients in SA) and attended the ceremony!

I will go and have a look at your article now!

Sadly, organ donation needs more attention everywhere in the world. As has been pointed out to me, however, it's hard to compete for attention when everyone has their hand out.

Glad both cyco and charee were able to take part, though!
