From tonight's chat - --

"My doctor sentenced me to the chair."

Perhaps with the "I Hate Dialysis.com" logo under it?

Is anyone familiar with the Broadway musical, Urinetown?  There is a song in the production called "It's a Privilege to Pee". I think that would make a terrific slogan for a dialysis Tee. Of course, would have to get permissions...but I was thinking, maybe the producers of Urinetown would give permission for the use of the title for fundraising purposes-- for some kidney charity...

Actually, I was wondering if productions of Urinetown could be used to raise kidney funds. Maybe I'll look into that...

My daughter gave me a refrigerator magnet with a picture of darling children. Around their sweet faces are the words " Children are a blessing.......you never know when you will need blood or a spare kidney".  I showed it to my fellow teachers and they started to ohh and awe, then they read the punch line and they didn't know whether to laugh or think it was a rude comment. I loved it!

Dialysis - $380,000 a year
Transplant - $150,000
First Year Follow-Up - $104,000
Having a working kidney - Priceless
