well here we are the week of thanksgiving so the schedule is segued, monday, wednesday, friday becomes sunday, tuesday, friday. who wants to get up at 4:15 on a sunday morning, i have enough trouble with mondays. on top of that i cancled my regular pickup because i didn't trust them to show up, and besides it's my car, even if my daughter uses it the most. anyway, things are going fairly smoothly. wasn't really sleepy, got a good nights sleep for a change. around 9am the tech comes along pushing a cart. i figured it was just her regular stocking duties, except there's a sub sandwich on the cart. would you believe, as a thank you for coming in on sunday they had ordered one of those giant subs. sandwich for any and all who were interested with mayo and mustard. amazing. delicious. unbelievable!!

They are having a potluck dinner on Wednesday at my center. We were asked to bring something pre-made and prepackaged to the potluck and show up a little early to eat.

Last December I was in my regular chair hooked up, when in comes Santa. He said "ho ho Ho" and he looked so real. He came in and gave me a candy cane. Later, the tech told me "He visits the needy first, then the greedy, the kids." Yeah, that's right.

Every once in awhile when I would go for my monthly PD checkups, there'd be a cake or cookies or something in the lobby, but no one ever told me anything about them, so I just figured it was for the staff...

We get nothing, not even ice chips...ever. No tissues, either. And you practically have to beg to get an emesis basin.

halloween we got a small bag of pretzels

the pretzels were salty
and too late to request water or ice if you already drank your water
and I came as a bear
I have bear heads made out of chicken wire and fake fur
it looks like Yogi the Bear
I won nothing
but then I do not play Bingo with the crowd
so I am anti-social
the social patients won
but I am a bear, what do I need with a back scratcher
