2 small or 1 large package lime jello
2 cups applesauce
12 oz 7up or sprite

place applesauce in sauce pan with jello, heat till jello is dissolved. take off heat, slowly add 7up (carefully it fizzes a lot)
refrigerate till set. (makes a very pretty molded salad)

So you cook it on the stovetop, and after you take it off the heat you add the 7up, then dump the whole thing into a bowl. Correct?

This sounds yummy.. I am going to make it for Thanksgiving... it'll be the one thing I make, and that nobody's ever had before...  :lol;

Thanks for sharing it!  :thumbup;

Can I subtitute shasta lemon twist diet in the recipe? I have got to try this recipe.  I think we have applesauce somewhere in the house.

This is  a very good recipe.  I tried it out. Used sugar free jello and shasta lemon lime soda diet.  It is sweet and has a cool texture.

I made this for Thanksgiving, it was the one thing I made. Everyone loved it! It was gone in literally 5 minutes... the whole bowl was empty, and I even had to say "Hey, wait, let me put some in a bowl for myself!!",  :lol;

Thanks for sharing it!

Thanks for the repost.

Everyone LOVES Jello!  And there is ALWAYS room for Jello, except in our refrigerator.  I'll have to clear out a shelf now cause this gives me IDEAS!

And I haven't made Jello in far far too long!  This is rapidly becoming one of those GOTTO DO things!

Edit;  But not today.  Today I'm doing Washington Red Delicious Apples, baked, with cinnamon and brown sugar. Cut them like a bloomin onion.  And they will be used to keep the 2 pork roasts moist.

It's gonna be good!

Need an emoticon getting struck by lightening cause I'm shocked!

Maybe you haven't been bit by a few 'Jello Shots'?  Deceptively tasty!

And I thought that 'I' wasn't 'normal'.

Guess this just proves once again, I am NOT the Lone Ranger.
