Strawberry Surprise
Great for ANY Holiday
1. 1 6ox pak Strawberry Jello
2 cups pineapple juice
1 lg pack frozen sliced strawberry w/sugar added
4 3oz cream cheese softened
1 cup sugar
2 2/3 cups broken pretzels (small pieces)
1 cup margarine melted
1 8oz cool whip thawed
Dissolve Jello in boiling pineapple juice. Stir in Strawberries and place in 9x11 pan and allow to thicken ALMOST to jello point.
Cream Cream Cheese and sugar and set aside.
Place pretzels and margarine in bottom of 9x13x2 baking pan, bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
Cool slightly. Spread cream cheese mixture over lukewarm pretzels.
Spread cool whip over cream cheese mixture,
When the Strawberry mixture is near Jello point add on top of cool whip and refrigerate.
Remove from refridgerator approximatly 1/2 hour before serving so the cream cheese softens and the pretzels will not crumble.

Do you think white chocolate pretzels would work ? Maybe, I'm just craving them.

I think the chocolate would melt considering the pretzels are baked. I think my brain is in slow motion today. I'm going to try your original recipe.
