me and my donor Joyce

« on: October 22, 2007, 06:04:48 AM »

Okay, it seems like I can't catch a break.  I was just fine Saturday.  We went to see George Lopez (the comedian... I laffed my butt off!!!!!), then almost immediately when we came home and  I walked in my door, my legs started hurting.  It hurts soooo bad!  Mostly on my right side, but the left hurts too.  It hurts where the leg and hip join, the knee, and a little at the ankle.  It is hard for me to go to the bathroom, cause its hard for me to stand back up.  I am also still having the problem with feeling like something is stuck in my throat!

Somethings gotta give!!!!

I hope you're feeling better.
You know, I stopped using phrases like "something's gotta give" and "what's next" because, well, I never liked what came next and when something DID give, it wasn't what I was hoping!!!!  :)

Donnia,
When are you do for labs?  Maybe you should call
your unit and tell your nurse about this, if you are
not due for a treatment today.  Please let us know
how you make out

Always something, isn't it?  Could it be gout from high uric acid levels?  The pain is unbearable. I can't walk or move--joints are in such pain.  Arthritis?  I am sure you have asked yourself all these questions!  Hope you find an answer fast.

I've started having problems with my left knee locking when I squat down or bend it real tight.  I have never had any sort of injury to my knee and I have no idea why it's doing this.  I'm thinking it might have something to do with my weight.  It feels like something "moves over" when I squat.  ???

Well, we did labs today and everything looks fine  :urcrazy;  Still hurts like the dickens tho!  When I went to the doctor, I also complained about the problems I am having with feeling like something in my throat.  They did x-rays on my throat, and tomorrow they are doing a catscan on my throat.  I am really worried about what is going on there!  Tonight I am feeling fine, cause the doctor gave me Loratab  :bandance; ..... whew feels good to be able to walk.  Of course I am still very worried about what is going on there.  The doctor also ordered more extensive bloodwork to see what is going on.  I will let yall know what I find out.

Thanks for all the support.. you guys are the bestest!!!! :yahoo;

Donnia, I hope things start getting (and stay) better soon! As far as the throat thing, I still think an endoscopic exam would be a good idea.
