Oct 41, 2007 - Got fistula placed.
Feb 13, 2008 - Activated on "the list".
Nov 5, 2008 - Received living donor transplant from my sister-in-law, Etta.
Nov 5, 2011 - THREE YEARS POST TRANSPLANT!  :D

Nope, but I am in San Angelo, Texas... about 3 1/2 hours NW of you :)

Well it's nice to meet you.  I'll bet you ya'll are still boiling hot there, huh?  We actually had a nice overcast day today  :clap;.  Some places received rain, but not at my home.  I'm ready for the cooler weather

It is very nice to meet  you too!!!  The weather hasn't been toooo bad... it is cooling down thank God.  I go to San Antonio every once in a while..... we wanted to go sooo bad this summer for Cowboys training camp but funds were short.

March 2001 - December 2001 - Hemo Dialysis
December 2001 - Kidney function improved dialysis no longer necessary
October 2006 - Kidney function started to decline
May 9, 2007 - Listed at Baylor Dallas and Fort Worth
October 12, 2007 - Started PD
May 13, 2008 - Kidney Transplant from a deceased donor

Well... Houston is about 7 hours from me.... San Antonio is about 3 1/2 hours from me..... Dallas area is about 4 - 5 hours from me... would be cool if we could meet in the middle somewhere!

A young woman who came out to California to be tested as a donor for Jenna was Kimberley from Texas. Nice people come from Texas!! :beer1;

Admin for IHateDialysis 2008 - 2014, retired.
Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
Found a swap living donor using social media, friends, family.
New kidney in a paired donation swap July 26, 2017.
