In my experience of one falling it, it bled very little.. however soon as I noticed it was out, I push atowel with pressure over it and went to the ER, where I was seen right away, and scheduled for surgery. It is ot ainful either, actually only reason I knew mine was out was b/c I saw it fall to the ground, I never felt a thing.  :lol;

I walked into the ER with it in hand too,to show the importance to the triage nurse and got sent back right away ;)

i guess it will or will not, mine did not bleed. it scared the crap out of me. had another one put in in about an hour.
