OMG am I freaked out!!! I think I may be pregnant!!! This is not a good thing! Besides, my kidneys, my diabetes is too far advanced for me to have kids too. It would most likely be fatal for me! I'm scared to death. About 1-2 months ago, I'd been having issues with my birth control, so about 3 weeks ago I stopped taking it (no we have not had sex since then). Now there are "signs"! I don't think my pills were working for the last 2 months because of the problems I was having! I AM FREAKING OUT!!! I have an appointment with my ob-gyn at 3:15, so please wish me luck!  :o

Good luck!

To keep yourself calm, realize that by going off the BC pills you may have "confused" your body, and it may be trying to adjust by showing the signs that you're pregnant, even if you're not. I had the same thing happen the first few months after I had my son and restarted the pill.

Thanks for everyone's support!

KT--that's comforting to know. I sure hope that what the problem is. That sure is a cruel thing for the body to do tho!

I'm back from the doctors. Well, I'm not pregnant. Yeah!! My doc thinks I have a tumor or tumors on my pituitary glands, which is making my body think I'm pregnant.  :o  Now I have to go get fasting blood work done to see if that's really it. Hopefully, it is benign! So, I'll do that tomorrow. Lord, what else?! I'm 30 and my body is completely falling apart!   :rant;

I'm glad its good news of sorts for you ! Is it going to be something so drastic as a tumour? I dont know about the other ladies here , but your periods can stop and start all over the place when you are ill. I think its your bodies way of telling you  that you couldnt cope with being pregnant right now . Anyway best of luck with your tests and lets hope its good news there as well !

Well, there are other things happening that are a sign of pregnancy or the tumor   ;D. I didn't mention those particular side effects because I didn't want to gross out any of the men here!

Congratulations?  :)   I feel the same way about my body.  I say to myself and my husband all the time  "I'm only 39!  My body is falling apart!"

Good Luck to you!  Tumors are scary, too!    :grouphug;
