I found this picture on the WEB.  It was not a site about kidney disease but I thought that the statement was true.   :)

My daughters bought a refrigerator magnet with this on it for me.   I knew I had four kids for a reason!!!  The transplant surgeon who did my evaluation, told his wife that they needed to have more than 2 children because you just might need spare parts one day :rofl;

Shucks!  Why didn't someone tell me this before?!?!?  Here I am with only one. And I would never accept a kidney from her anyway.  My dad died from kidney failure at 90, and my brother died after 10 years on dialysis.  No sir, no kidney from anyone in my near family.

Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
Found a swap living donor using social media, friends, family.
New kidney in a paired donation swap July 26, 2017.
