 I am very lucky to have had a GREAT surgeon for my fistula. I felt so much safer with him then my Neph, who is a complete MORON. The surgery was great, I didn't have much pain afterwards and went home the next day.

:2thumbsup;  Great!  Glad it went well.   :2thumbsup;

Did you remember to ask how long you need to wait to begin exercising with the squeeze ball?

Usual wait time between fistula surgery and first use is eight weeks.  Did you get a catheter instead of a fistula?  Or did you have some minor fistula repair?  Or do they have some new technique I don't know about?

I was extremely lucky when I received my Fistula.  My Nephr referred me to a surgeon in the same building, and HE WAS FANTASTIC.  The surgery went great.  And I was home in about 6 hours from start to finish!  Barely left a scar, which is about 2-inches long, but bariley visable.
