I have been laying low these past few days. I had to have gall bladder surgery as it became inflammed along with my chest cath removed which was infected. All in all a fun weekend. I am back at home and recovering...Boxman

What a lousy way to spend a weekend. Hope the infection clears quickly. I cannot imagine trying to mesh a dialysis diet with a gallbladder diet. Best advice I got was to go totally "fat-free" for six weeks and add fat back in very slowly in small amounts.

hope you feel better soon- my husband had his out in october last year- it really improved his heartburn, he didn't have to change his diet though- if anything he could tolerate more choices (as long as they were renal friendly of course)
