I have been laying low these past few days. I had to have gall bladder surgery as it became inflammed along with my chest cath removed which was infected. All in all a fun weekend. I am back at home and recovering...Boxman

What a lousy way to spend a weekend.  :thumbdown;   Hope the infection clears quickly.

I cannot imagine trying to mesh a dialysis diet with a gallbladder diet.  Best advice I got was to go totally "fat-free" for six weeks and add fat back in very slowly in small amounts.

hope you feel better soon- my husband had his out in october last year- it really improved his heartburn, he didn't have to change his diet though- if anything he could tolerate more choices (as long as they were renal friendly of course)

Everytime I look at the title of this thread I recall the t-shirt idea for donor awareness:

         GET YOUR ORGAN YANKED!

Hope each day you are better and better Boxman  :cuddle;

Sluff, they wouldn't let me keep it. I would have put it on a hook and went trolling. "how did you catch that trophy Musky, Sir..well I tied my gall bladder to a #6 hook and ran at 15' down between the weeds. One shot deal"  ;D ;D ;D
