someone used the phrase 'compassionate conclusion' to signal the humane ending of an animals life- I think we deserve the same end if we are suffering
I truly believe this also. But only if we are at the point where the suffering is just too hard to deal with

That point for some may be the first day of dialysis, or the remark of the doctor saying it is now time to start dialysis... and to others it may be 20 years on dialysis... everyone is different.
Being one who has been on hemodialysis continuously for over 20 years, I can truly say it ain't easy.But it takes too much energy for me to hate dialysis. I'd rather spend what limited energy I have on doing something for myself --that makes me feel good about my life.
It took a few years, but I started my own company to produce public television documentaries. I raise all the funding (with lots of rejections), hire a camera crew, hire an editor and sit back after all the work is done and enjoy the finished documentary on PBS.
