Goofynina and Epoman - Gone But Not Forgotten

WWW
« on: May 15, 2007, 11:37:04 AM »

On Monday at dialysis, I had a good sleep.  I dreamt that I was on dialysis (!!!!!), but when the machine finished, they told me that not all the fluid was removed and I would have to stay a bit longer.  I woke, and was happy that it was just a dream.
I went back to sleep and this time I was on dialysis again (!!!!) and one of my feet was cramping, but not too bad.  I said to myself I wouldn't say anything so they would put in any saline.  I woke, and once more was glad it was just a dream.
I told two of the nurse about my dream and we just laughed at it.    A few minutes later my foot cramped (the same one as in the dream) and again, like the dream, it wasn't too bad so nothing was done about it.   I had about 45 minutes more to go.
When the machine sounded that it was finished, the nurse came over.  She kept looking at my machine.  I asked her what was the matter.  She said "The machine has finished but there is still fluid remaining and you can't come off until it is done".
Could you imagine?   She herself was shocked because I had already told her of the dream.
That was the first time this had ever happened that my session was lengthened because of that.
How can people say that there isn't anything supernatural?  How could I dream something that happened so exactly?

I do hear that Twilight Zome music playing in the background at your clinic.  Weird, huh?

Lol,  Once I had a patient who was sleeping on dialysis.  All of a sudden, he was yelling and trying to scoot down to the bottom of the chair.  He ended up in the floor.  Well of course he woke up when he hit the floor.  When I asked him what in the world he was doing, he said he was dreaming he was drving his car and was crashing so he was getting in the floor board.  We laughed ourselves silly.  That was a funny day.  ;D
