Me too Michael. I would much rather have a tech, who sticks all the time, to a nurse who only sticks occassionally.
I went into the hospital recently for surgery. While there, I had to do dialysis. The day I was being discharged, I had a dialysis session. I have "button holes' and evidently, the tech did know how to do button holes. So, with one of the needles, she stuck me on the side of one of my holes. Well, after the session was over, I was discharged. I got home and was taking the bandages off. That wrong hole started bleeding and would not stop. It was a slow trickle that seeped and seeped a night. The next morning, I had to go to the ER to get them to stop the bleeding. Turns out this tech was in training. Yes. give me somebody who knows what they are doing.
