:puke; :Kit n Stik; :banghead;  I just got off the phone with my hospital's billing.  I had to call them three times.  I called social security once, and then got through to them on email.  All of that and it winds up where my provider has to resubmit their claims.  Why do they have to make things so complicated?  I pay for my insurance, both Medicare and private insurance, and still they bill me.  It's frustrating.

It often seems as though insurance companies are very reluctant to pay out claims.  After all, they want to collect premiums and make money.  Paying out money, for any reason, cuts into profits.  So making their own rules, making us dot every I and making sure every T is crossed perfectly, they simply won't pay out.

And keeping a whole team of lawyers constantly rewriting policy limitations every year so to further reduce 'covered items' so they can even further reduce pay-outs and increase profits.

I like to compare insurance to legalized 'Ponzy' schemes.   Collect as much as possible and pay out far far less.  Keep a big pile of  money for yourself.  Wish I had thought of it.  But then again, they would have put a simple Guy like me in Jail for anything like that.

Then try this instead: Start your own religion. That is even more profitable and totally legal. Plus, in most states, you don't have to pay tax.
