Can I get a short list of crunchy snacks that are renal friendly....I already know about the air popped popcorn, unsalted crackers, and rice cakes. Brand names might help as well.

...One of my favourite snacks is:
... one piece of bread (self-made and without any salt) is being toasted on one side and then I turn it over and put about 5 green olives on the other side ...
 ... then I add about 3-4 finely cut very sharp green (pickled) peppers over the bread and finally I sprinkle a little bit of grated Emmentaler-cheese over it and toast it.
When the little bit of grated cheese is nicely melted over the olives and green peppers, I put some "original Branston sweet pickle" (containing various vegetables i.e. carrot, cauliflower, gherkin, sugar, Barley Malt vinegar etc.) over the toast and the result is a very tasty snack  ...
I have no idea how kidney-friendly this snack is, but I have been enjoying it regularly for many years and no harm was ever done...
The secret is not to overdo it...
... Bon appétit ...

P.S. I have started a while ago to stop using dairy products because of rumoured growth hormones given to cattle etc.,
... and I have been quite successful with this new food-regimen by introducing almond-milk and many other similar products,
but now and again I use a little bit of Emmentaler-cheese (from Switzerland) and I am very careful to use only very little very sparingly... :grouphug;
