Hello everyone! I have been on dialysis twice before. PD the first time and Hemo the second. Right now i'm 15 years out from my second kidney transplant and pre-dialysis with a creatinine of 3.3-3.6 and gfr 16-17. Although i have been through this experience twice before i found that all three times are proving to be unique and reading your posts has been very helpful

Hi Lararva, I'm so glad you found us and joined.  I have had one kidney transplant that lasted 17 years.  What a blessing that was.  Now I'm on Hemo and do in-center Nocturnal shift 3x a week.

I hope you find this site helpful.  Where are you from?

Hi Rerun,

Thanks for the welcome. I'm in Richmond.

I have been considering my dialysis options recently and pretty much settled on in center Hemo. That's what i did last go round. I don't necessarily prefer it, i just hate dialyzing at home. I think I'd like to try nocturnal HD this go round, if it's available in my area
