Tablet and dialysis

I have been taking my Nexxus7 to dialysis. Now I cannot think of not having it with me.  I am on the machine for 7 hours for three nights a week.  What did I ever do without it?
So my question is, does anyone have any fun apps on a tablet that might be fun to play with during dialysis?
I am not into shoot 'em up bang bang games.  I die within the first three seconds of the game.  More towards word puzzles, mazes, things like Candy Crush
I currently have Kindle for book reading
Evernote for typing when I get a hair up my butt to write anything.
Candy crush, monster busters, pengle, WWE card game, Angry birds, Reddit pics, netflix.

I bring a iPad Air 128 GB LTE which runs nook, kindle and iBook so I have plenty to read, in addition I play Civilization, battle academy, cribbage and solitaire
I also check this web site. In dialysis my plan is to sleep for two hours then read for a hour and finally game for a hour.

If you like word games, try WELDER. It is a great word game that I play all the time. Worth the money. Lost Island is a fun little free game. You do eventually run out of levels but it takes months and it's free.

I love my Kindle Fire, which usually lasts just as long as a sessions does. But there are real drawbacks. Kindle does not support Flash and you can't get Google Play on the thing. I had to hack my machine in order to see video at all. I really hate this proprietary stuff between companies. I'm not sure what to get next. It has to weigh less. it has to have Google Play and Flash, and it has to be able to do all the things I normally do.

My Nexxus7 is smaller than the Kindle and plays video. Look for a tablet at your phone store or try some out at a Best Buy.

I just bought Alan a small portable dvd player, very light, so he can watch dvd series ...he seems to love the westerns!

I got my Hubby an I-Pad Air ,for dialysis. They have WiFi, so he uses it every day. Reads E-mail , newspapers , watches movies , even will sometimes bid on online auctions he watches that are local . He loves it , makes the time go faster !! Also, I can send him messages via my I-Pad through the message feature. Works realy good .

I have a Windows Surface Tablet but the Wifi at dialysis needs a guest password and it kicks you off after 10 minutes so I don't take it.  But, it is small and I love it for home.  It is also freezing at dialysis so my hands need to be under my blankets.  So my little DVD player is the best for me.

I have been looking at Nexus tablets seriously. I want something that weighs about a half pound.

Lately, I have been using it to watch episodes of Criminal Minds. There's like 9 seasons on there. I also am watching Supernatural, which I've been doing for a couple months. I have an audiobook I listen to for the first hour: It is "Beyond Belief: My Secret Life Inside Scientology, and My Harrowing Escape" By Jenna Miscavige Hill.

If I get bored, I like to play Cubis or look at Facebook for a couple seconds, check my email, or--this is good--Skype my husband. Face to face. I really miss him sometimes at my sessions, because our schedules conflict. The server for our center warns that we are being monitored, so no porn for me, I guess.  Besides, my browser kind of sucks. And I'm talking about Chrome, which I hacked in because they want me to use "Silk." Both not the best.

I treated myself to an iPad mini a few years back.. Love the thing:)

Since I got an iPhone 5 I've stopped taking my original iPad in.  It might be nicer to have a bigger phone, but really the phone has replaced the need for the iPad. 

FYI: I'm a big believer in the service FreedomPop.com, they use the Sprint network and offer 500 megs free data + free VOIP voice and texting.  (Think NetZero for cell phones.) They charge for additional services, the initial device ($300+ for used iPhone 5 - no newer phones available), and any overage.  But I've used various devices from them for a few years not an generally pay NOTHING each month.  The voice coverage via VOIP might be low quality but I don't talk on the phone much so its not a concern to me.

Where they get complaints is when people signing up for services that they don't want, but if you are careful on what you agree to, and check your bill in the second month and unselect services you don't want to pay for you can control your bill and keep yourself in the free monthly cost zone.

I did use to bring my laptop in (writing the next bestselling novel) and answering emails etc but now I have a fistula I find it real difficult to do one handed.
I do use my iPhone for texting and a little bit of surfing but that's still not easy one handed. I could do with a gadget that fixes on to the chair arm and holds the iPod firmly at an angle suitable for typing!!
