Hi All,
Here's my story as a baby I had something called Reflux and this damaged one of my Kidney's. When I was Seven years old I had surgery to correct the reflux and for 33 years I lived a life devoid of thinking about what my kidney's were doing or not doing. Then just before Thanksgiving I got a bad cold which mostly went away except for a bad cough that just wouldn't go away. After much coaxing by my friends and my mother I went to see my Doctor who sent me to the ER. It was not long after this meeting that I was diagnosed with Pneumonia and Chronic Kidney Failure After spending about two weeks in the hospital I am now on Dialysis and staying with my parents for the time being.

Hi Valeskahope, and  :welcomesign;! Lovely to 'meet' you, but not so lovely about the circumstances. Come back often.
