Thank you, God, for this gift of life. Thank you for the hundreds of lemons that are growing on the tree in my backyard. They're beautiful.

I am thankful for more time spent with my nieces. Watching them grow up. Having snuggle time. Trying to figure out the new way they do math these days.

I am thankful for this brand new kidney. And I'm deeply grateful that my donor's family made the decision to give the gift of life.

Since then, I've tried PD three times unsuccessfully, done In-Center hemo, NxStage short daily, Nocturnal NxStage, and had two transplants. Currently doing NxStage short daily while waiting for a third transplant.
Married Sept. 2011 to my wonderful husband, James, who jumped into NxStage training only 51 days after our wedding!

I'm thankful for my life and NxStage machine. I'm living a close to normal life. I am thankful for my daughter who always and forever will have my back. My mother for telling me she loves me almost every chance she gets. My brothers who are over protective of me but call me when they want to talk. My friends and family that they are always happy to hear from me. My ability to work for the 14 years I was on D. And, for God's Grace and Mercy which have kept me this far and the things he provided for me.
HAVE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!!

Dailysis patient for since 1999 and still kicking it strong. I was called for a transplant but could not get it due to damage veins from extremely high blood pressure. Have it under control now, on NxStage System but will receive dailysis for the rest of my life. Does life sucks because of this. ABOLUTELY NOT! Life is what you make it good, bad, sick, or healthy. Praise God I'm still functioning as a normal person just have to take extra steps.

I am happy for this my 32 wedding anniversary to the love of my life and best friend. I am thankful for NxStage for keeping her alive.
Her latest numbers on the increased dialysis are GREAT. She had a Kt/V of 3.6 and a post BUN of 15 which is the best EVER.
I wish you all a good and healthy holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends and family here on IHD. I'm so thankful for my kidney transplant that is 2 weeks old today. Thank you Candy Bench, love you so much! I'm also thankful for my family, that all are doing well and prospering. And thank you to all my friends that have been thinking and praying for me as I go through this phase in my live. Love you all.
