Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but it doesn't go in Off Topic since I'm mentioning dialysis...

We are allowed to dress up for Halloween at work.  I want to go as a dialysis patient to educate people about donation.  I have a Donate Life t-shirt that I'll wear.  I was thinking of taping buttonholes needles to my sleeve (securely capped), possibly filling the needles with red colored water.  Maybe a blood pressure cuff on the other arm?  And wearing medical gloves.  I can't wear a mask as one of my primary tasks is talkiing on the phone.

Any ideas to make my costume great?  It seems appropriate as Halloween is exactly 2 years since I started dialysis.  Plus I want to bring donation to everyone's attention.

March 2007 - Brother diagnosed with ESRD, started dialysis 3 days later
April 2007 - Myself and sister also diagnosed with Senior-Loken Syndrome (Juvenile Nephronophthisis and Retintis Pigmentosa)

Since then, I've tried PD three times unsuccessfully, done In-Center hemo, NxStage short daily, Nocturnal NxStage, and had two transplants.  Currently doing NxStage short daily while waiting for a third transplant.

Married Sept. 2011 to my wonderful husband, James, who jumped into NxStage training only 51 days after our wedding!

Maybe a tiny kids sippy cup to limit your fluids?

Put 20 or so medicine bottles on your desk.
