So i know this is not good but have had enough so wanted to know if anyone has tried missing days and how you feel and what you do. I go sauna and shift the fluid and try to keep to the diet as much as possible. So its Wednesday and my HD day but I am not going. Feeling great.

First off I hope you are feeling ok, not sure why you aren't going in but IMO everyone is different our bodies are different. Some people could go days, some cant. I know there are a few patients at my Unit who only come twice a week and seem to be ok. Then there is a guy who puts on 4+ kilos almost every day by the time he comes in he has 6 kilos or more on and they try their best to get as much of it off as they can. Its not a great idea but I guess there are circumstances where you could miss a day or so but I am sure in the long run you are doing some sort of damage.. I've gotten infiltrated on Monday, opted not to try and get hooked up the same day, also decided not to go in the following day so by Wednesday I wasn't feeling all that great. You could feel crappy due to fluid overload or given enough time or depending on the person your blood could be full of toxins which would also have you feeling like crap. I remember how awful I felt prior to going on Dialysis and it sucked. I could not catch my breath, felt so tired and lousy I don't ever want to feel that way again..

Going to a sauna is in no way equivalent to going to dialysis. Personally I wouldn't want to risk skipping.

Sauna may remove sodium and water, but it dies not remove other toxins.
