Hubby has gone three years with no infection, he is on APD. This morning his bags were so cloudy, had to rush him into hospital. He has got peritonitis, where from we do not know. He also started having angina attacks whilst in hospital.I am scared, I know he has a weak heart but he has never had angina.They are treating the peritonitis and doing tests on his heart. Fingers crossed the infection will clear up because he dreads going on Hemo. He has had a brillient week this week, best week he has had for ages he has been out in the sunshine on his mobility scooter and loved every monite of it, it was a pleasure to see him and now this.Really pi**ed off.

I'm so sorry his week ended on a sour note.  Just hang in there as he is in good care I am sure.  My prayers for a speedy recovery are with you both.  Think positive!  :flower;

Peace & Blessings...

I hope your husband is feeling better and that they get the infection and the angina under control quickly.  It seems especially cruel since you said he'd had a very good week and was enjoying being out and about.  Hope the tests show the angina is anxiety or stress related and not more heart problems.  I'm praying for healing and peace of mind for both of you.

So sorry to hear this news billybags . Laurie also has problems with his heart but usually no symptoms unless something else is wrong . " Angina " attacks are probably related to his usual heart condition made worse because he is under stress from the infection . Maybe he has a bit of extra fluid on and his heart is having to work harder . Hopefully it will be OK . Fingers crossed he is better soon and back enjoying his scooter .

Thanks guys, he seems a lot better in his self to-day. The infection is still there, the bags are still cloudy so they are  doing 2 hour drains with antibiotics. He also said the pain is subsiding which is good. He has had a couple of twinges in the night with the angina, I hope it is stress related because he has not had this before. Thanks.

How frightening for you both.  I'm glad he is showing some improvement!  I hope that continues.  Do keep us posted, OK?

I love the image of him scootering about.  Let us know when he's back in the saddle!

O what great news!!!! Glad he got "sprung". Hopefully now this bad spell is behind you and he can continue riding his scooter all over the place. My friends hubby has a hoveround and he is Mr. independent. When people ask where he is, she says, oh, you know him, he is out hovering, hahaha.
