Yes, off to get the tune up on the fistula.  It is not working right now. Going into Kaiser to get it checked out.  Damn!

Kaiser is the hospital in Fontana.  I am back home until tomorrow morning when they will declot the fistula.  I get to sleep in my own bed and not in the hospital overnight.  Back into Kaiser 9am for procedure at 10 am  will update afterwards.

I've just been chatting on FB with Kitz's daughter, Danielle... Poor Kitz is having it tough.... Danielle's waiting to be approved for membership of IHD, so she has asked me to post on her behalf...  This is the message from Danielle which she asked me to pass on...

"As far as we know right now, her fistula reclotted after they tried de-clotting it yesterday. So they put the chest catheters in late last night so she can do dialysis. The artery where it attaches at the bottom of the fistula is collapsing...so its loosing its strength. So they are thinking of repostioning it sometime this week...."

I asked if it appears that Kitz will remain in hosp. for a few days, and this was her reply...

"Yeah as far as we know. She's being taken to dialysis now. Dad and I are going to go to the hospital and she says they may do surgery tonight."

So Folks, let's remember our Kitz in our prayers....

Will keep everyone updated as I hear from Danielle...

Love to all...

Update...

They dialysed Kitz through the PermaCath, and took her off early....

She's now having a stent put into her fistula.... Fingers crossed this will work, and she'll be up and running again very soon...
