We had a mini meet in Chicago area in 2011 and it was great. We had people in different stages and treatment options. If you can go to one, it is great and so was Vegas. The way the mini meet was set up at the time was by making a post to see if anyone was interested and then planning started on the thread once a central location was agreed upon.
I loved the mini meet we had! It was so great to finally meet others like me!    :2thumbsup;
I got to announce that I had self cannulated for the first time! Now that I've been doing home hemo since September, that's old news!   :rofl;
I'll have to find something new and exciting to announce next time!
I had mentioned the brunch at Starved Rock (LaSalle county) Anyone up for another meet any time soon??

It's so great to meet other IHDers - whether by group or one-on-one -- it's been going on since this forum began.  :yahoo;
We were scheduled to meet Epoman at Tito's Tacos in Los Angeles, but he passed away like a week before. So we met up in his honor.
You can scroll through pages and see some of these wonderful connections in The IHD Family - Our Members http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?board=39.300

Plan to get together! Take photos! You won't be sorry.

I am up for a Los Angeles area meet up!! And am planning to go to Vegas in October!!  :bandance;

Hard to do that now for me since I'm not driving. Only way I can do it is if there is a meeting in Chicago where I can take mass transit.
