I have had belching since as far as I can remember (a year and a half)  I would like to get rid of it and that's why I talked with my general doctor. She told me to have done an endoscopy + a biopsy, to see if its just gerd or if something more like pylori is causing the problem.

Has anyone had a similar problem?  would the endoscopy be risky considering I'm on peritoneal dialysis?     There's not a day in which I don't belch my soul out of this world.

I can't see why an endoscopy would be harmful if you are on PD.  It shouldn't affect the peritoneum at all.  I had one but before I was on PD.  The biopsy is just a scrape of stomach lining - in my case for coeliac disease.  I do know that pylori is easily cured if that is your problem, though I think that is usually accompanied by pain rather than by burping.

There is no problem having these done. Husband has had both done while on PD.
