my son is a special needs child
hes 25yrs old but with a mind capcity
of a 12yr old

he has the same birthdefect
that i have
as well a kidney patient

last week
my mom took him
to the doc and he said
he was fine
last nite after coming
home from dialyis
he wasent feeling good
had the chills and a temp
of 102
my mom took him to the hospitol
and to find out he has pneumonia


i i plan on going to up there later
for i have appt

Oh my.  I have a special needs child, too, and I can't imagine him having to deal with dialysis on top of his disability.  I hope your dear son has a quick and complete recovery from pneumonia.  :cuddle;

Admin for IHateDialysis 2008 - 2014, retired.
Jenna is our daughter, bad bladder damaged her kidneys.
Was on in-center hemodialysis 2003-2007.
7 yr transplant lost due to rejection.
She did PD Sept. 2013 - July 2017
Found a swap living donor using social media, friends, family.
New kidney in a paired donation swap July 26, 2017.

thank you
i went and saw him last nite

and it was strange. as he is on the same floor just a few doors away from the room
he was in when he was admited the very first time when we almost lost him(that floor was 2weeks after he was moved into that room)
for he was in the hospitol that time for a total of 3weeks


and now i found out something last nite
my uncle is in the hospitol.. something to do with his lungs
my mom did talk to him
 and he sounded his old self.. i guess hes doing ok for now any how

hes doing great
he got out of the hospitol on fri so he was only there for 24hours

sunday march 17th was his birthday   sweet 26yrs old

he going in on the 21st
for a bone marrow teat for they felt
something was wrong with his lab test i dont know
but i told my mom, you better ask if you can be the room
to hold his hand for hes not going to be a happy camper
and my sister was thinking why cant she ask if they could put him
out
i was thinking the same thing

when they did my bone marrow
i ended up
in the hospitol 24hours for i was bleeding
