Jenn went to get up off the couch and charge her phone and suddenly started losing tons of fluid and blood out of her 12 in incision! We called an ambulance and they got the bleeding under control. Now to find out..what exactly happened? So far no news but I will keep you updated.

Oh my God!  That must have been terrifying!  What the hell was that all about?

Mum says  "Looks like a pocket of fluid couldnt drain and was waiting to pop." It's going to be a 1-2 hr wait for a cat scan to check all that out..

Well, ok...that makes sense.

Is she doing ok?  I mean, is she is any danger?

Oh, that's a relief!!  I'm glad she is doing ok since waiting for cat scans and then the results from cat scans is enough to drive you mad!  Let us know what's going on once it is convenient for you to post again.  In the meantime, please give her our regards.  Take care of yourself, too.  Jenn is very lucky to have you around for support, and I'm very grateful that you have kept us so well informed.  Thanks so much.

At first I thought it was all my fault because right before it happened I was touching her feet with my cold hands to tease her a bit and that caused her to jerk and squirm and then it happened! It turned out it was a coincidence that the thing burst right when I touched her and she moved around. The doctors say it was a disaster waiting to happen. And it's best it happened up here in Visalia because Keweah Delta is a much better hospital for her to be admitted. If it happened while she was at the Springville house she would have been taken to Sierra View; the hospital that did the hack job sewing of her stitches and left a fluid bubble in her abdominal cavity! Good news, Jenn got her cat scan and it looks like an easy fix!

Oh goodness...what a nasty surprise for you all - but good that it doesn't seem to be dangerous for her and that you were with her to make sure she got help ASSP!!!! So feel proud and happy for that not that you froze her toes!! just kidding :)

Let us hope this can be sorted really soon and she is able to be out and properly recovering ASAP and not have any more nasty surprises!

thank you so much for letting us all know!!!! :)

News on Jenn! They have opened up a couple stitches to allow her to drain naturally. After major abdominal surgery they are SUPPOSED to put in a drain tube but failed to do so. So..fluid has been building up inside her wanting to drain since Feb 22! It finally burst Monday! Scary and gross but all in all she is alright! She'll have to have her wound dressing changed every six hrs or so but besides that and a very hoarse throat..she is alright! Thank you all for your love and support! :D  :grouphug;

Jazzy, I'm so sorry your sis had to go through such an unpleasant incident, but I'm glad she's OK. You're a great sister.
