((((kit78))))

I am not the "very nice lady" but I hope she sees this and contacts you. I wish there were more that I could do to help during this stressful time.

I wish I had good advice. So sorry to hear about this. Try looking up your county social services. Call them and start asking for any help they have. I hope someone has good advice.

Sorry I'm late to this post. Have you spoken with your social worker??  I know national kidney foundation has funds available. I'm not sure how deep you are in the process but I will be doing some research on this, I'm positive there is a solution however difficult it may be and I'm sure it is very difficult. We have nonsense of community in this country any more. And our economic times are very trying especially for people like us with limited money or means by which to gain access to funds. I will ask around and fire up the internet connection and see what I come up with. FYI the social workers at transplant center (if your on the list) are usually a million times better than the ones at the dialysis center. My very first suggestion is getting in touch with national kidney foundation ASAP. I have found their help invaluable. Please let me know where you are in this process right now so I have an idea of how quickly we need to move. Good luck don't give up!  Explain you circumstances and fight. Regards G.

Thank you Geoff....  will start looking into this asap!   My last payment was June 2012 (7 going on 8 months behind)  when I had Pneumonia and lost my transplant of 11 years.  I spent 17 days of June in the hospital and that's when everything started.

Quick question;  are you currently receiving disability social security or in the application process?

Just started receiving Disability this month. Everything is in place and just waiting for another kidney.  I am single and live alone. This just happens to be the Family home I am in. Hate to lose it.
Thanks again for your help.

Ok great now I have a good staring place. I think you should call NFK ASAP on Monday. They usually are very helpful and if they can't help they will guide you to who can. Again social worker. If you back listed for a kidney start with the one at transplant center but use the two you have available. Your back on dialysis right I assume because you qualified for disability. Have you spoke to your mortgage holder yet??  If not i would ask them for time to find a means to get back up to date or work something out. Tell them what you are doing about talking to NFK and social workers for help request a stop in all proceedings for 3 months. They will usually work with you if you are showing initiative of working on this. Also get a copy from your doctor of disability paperwork to fax or show them. This will be Abigail help in stopping the proceedings until you  and I can find some help. Look you CAN get thru this. I know other healthy people that have. But it takes a couple hours a day getting to the right people and making them see your situation and that you are doing all you can to make this right and trying to find ways of getting help. I'm currently researching ADA act to see if there is anything about housing in that. Another personal question. Don't have to answer!  Have you ever claimed bankruptcy?  Or lost another home to foreclosure?  Trying to make sure I have what I need to provide more info for you. We can do this. I promise. If people without your issues are getting help and funds to avoid foreclosure I know we can find it for you!!  I'm sure this suck especially with all the other shit your going thru now but a couple hours a day of work on you part and I'm sure between the info I get and you spending that time to talk and explain situation will do wonders!!  I can tell you try to get as far to the top decision makers as possible. Look up bank and its managers loan people the executives of the company and even board members. Get heard!!  Be polite as hard as it will be. Try and make friends. Make the feel sorry for you. It's hard with ego but a sob story and and polite words will get you to the top of the pile and usually much more. I'm pulling for you!!  Lets do this!!  G.

Watch out for that "very nice lady" who spammed you if she requires any sort of advance fee to assist you.  There are a lot of "foreclosure assistance" services out there that service their customers in the same manner that a bull services a cow.

I offered help but no money. She emailed me and even called me but seemed to be going that direction so I blocked. Should have known better.

No court date is set per the Mortgage Co. Lawyer.  Hope is in sight plus the Mort. Co. wants all new paper work because they say there are new programs available. So keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm so very confused here. Kit78 is it YOU going thru this?  Or someone else?

I sent you messages on this post telling you there were programs out there. I even emailed you. I'm happy you found a new program to help you. I know there are many out there. I'm just confused as to who it is having the issue. It seems in the first post you were referring to a third party, "a very nice lady". I offered up some suggestions that I'm positive if you work at it will yield results. I never want anyone to go though anything like this. But in the last email I received you had decided to just give up. I can't help you if you will not stand up and help yourself. Please clarify for me. Is it you Kit78 or some other person going though this issue. I reiterate talk to your social workers, the bank. Have your medical history and disability paper work for them. I know it's not easy and it will be frustrating and take a lot of work but you can get help. So please clarify this situation for me and I'll offer advise and help with agencies to contact for help. THX. G.

Does anyone know of any agencies that help when people are sick like us?  A very nice lady from here sent me a message about this issue and I accidentally deleted it.  My dumb mistake so I am re-posting this.  Please contact me again will you.  If anyone knows of anything....please contact me.

I will do what I can for all of this however, I will not live in my car and no where else to go.  Everyone has thrown me to the wolves now that I am dealing with this. Such is life...which shall be over way to soon for my liking.

Thank you all.

For now I got it covered......Thank you God!  Hope all is well.
