Be good to yourself when nobody else will.

« on: January 19, 2013, 05:50:31 AM »

So, yesterday was my birthday...   :yahoo; *bows* Yes, yes. Thank you. Oh, please! No pictures!  :rofl;

Anyway... ::) I had dialysis yesterday and didn't much feel like doing anything after for said b-day. So, tonight my family is taking me to the casino and to the buffet.... O.M.G. can you see my mouth watering already?! I have never been to this buffet, though I've been to the casino many, many, many times. (What can I say? Gotta live somehow!  :waiting; ) I know there is going to be steak, potatoes... oh God, DESSERT. O.O I'd kill for some creme brulee. Yeah, that's the redneck way of spelling it! lololol And I know I'm going to stuff myself until I can't move. Maybe then I'll not go out on the gaming floor and lose all my birthday monies. ::) Doubt it. I plan on taking a handful of binders with me. One pocket full of binders, one pocket full of money!!  :2thumbsup; I'm sooooo ready to be off work.

Yeah, so.. wish me luck! Both for my phos and on the slots! :D Seriously, I have the worse luck. >.> I never win. Well, hardly ever. Which is like never. Heh. Maybe even have a little drinky-drink... idk. It is the weekend, you never know!  :P

You know, I have never played the Wheel of Fortune slot before! :o The higher denom slots scare me.  :lol; I think the highest I've gone was 25 cent and even that was only a couple pulls. Because soon I was like, OMG WHERE DID MY MONEY GO?!  :rofl;

Thanks for the good luck wishes, I hope it works! ;) And definitely, I'll be splurging on sweets tonight. I'll try to stay behind the sneeze guard.  :angel;

I wish you a happy celebration!   Screw the diet for one day.  Enjoy!

Yeah! It's always nice to have support when contemplating cheating on your diet.  :rofl;

And if I win it big, I'll buy us all shiny, new kidneys!  :yahoo; hahaha

Have a blast!
Are you going to Par-a-dice? Ive only been there once, had 10 bucks hahaha but it played for about an hour...
I preferrd harahs in st louis, since they are both about the same distance from where i used to live lol ive been there twice. im such a gambler  :sarcasm;

i love buffets, my guys are so picky, it makes it so much more easy, and i looooooooove me a salad bar! mmm all those delicious toppings for the salads.... holy crap im hungry! we dont have many good buffets around here... except chinese, which im pretty sure ISNT good for us. i just eat the heck out of some "sushi" (stuff thats made like sushi, has no raw fish though, cant think of what its called...)

Uh, yea, sorry, got off on that bit there.... anywho, have fun tonight, tis your bday, your ALLOWED to cheat sometimes, bday is one of those times! We gotta live, man!

 :yahoo; :yahoo; :yahoo; Thanks everyone! Well, we ended up going to Olive Garden instead. I had salad, breadsticks, lasagna and a little lemoncello dolcini for dessert. It was soooo good, I couldn't eat it all though. Leftovers!!  :rofl;

Then we went to the Firekeeper's Casino in Battle Creek. I was up and down, up and back down, by the end I had lost about $100. But I'm okay with that.  :2thumbsup; All in all it was a nice birthday and 25 feels like it will be a decent year. :D

Sorry I am so late. Sounds like you had a greaaaaaaaat b day and $100.00 is not too awful much to lose. What the heck, it only comes once a year, and when you get to my age, you will be hoping it does not come soon!!!
